Interior

Although there are 5 bunks (one of which can be converted into a double bunk), the vessel is designed primarily for two persons to live aboard for very extended periods, with the primary sleeping area being two large and particularly comfortable quarter berths. The main cabin is ‘open plan’, with one spacious area centered around companionway, quaterberths, chart-table, and galley; and another in the saloon. There is vast storage space for stores, equipment, spares, sails, tankage, etc.

The hull is insulated with closed cell foam (reduced condensation, noise damping).

The interior is remarkably quiet even in heavy seas / wind. Classic mahogany wood interior, with emphasis on robustness, durability, and functionality. 1.9m head-room in main accommodation as well as forepeak. Cabin sides lined with mahogany ventilation strips. Robust roof grab-handles and window level grab-rails. All surfaces have robust coamings. Marinized, non-slip cork soles, with easy access to all tanks and bilge below. Large amount of storage in strongly latched cupboards and cubby holes, lockers beneath bunks, etc. Forepeak contains one berth. The remainder is given over to sail, warp and chain storage. ) Companionway with hanging/shelved cupboard (port) and heads (starboard) with hot/cold shower, sink, Lavac toilet, and large storage lockers. Goiot hatch overhead. Comfortable saloon with robust saloon table (with inlaid full-size chess board). Cubby-hole bookcases, and locker cupboards outboard. Saloon seats provide two wide berths, one quickly convertible to comfortable occasional double berth. Royal Blue canvas seat covers (2015). Large central at companionway for galley (port) and navigation area (starboard) with very large (90x80cm) chart-table. A large central tool/equipment box –cover- serves as galley seat and also platform for accessing Goiot observation dome overhead. Two large quarter berths aft, each with storage lockers and shelving outboard.

Galley with sink, 3 three-burner Swiss Kerosene stove with oven. Hot water to Galley and Heads through 40 litre boiler ( heat exchanger to engine, and 220V). Electrical water pressure system, with additional manual pump in galley. Isotherm fridge under saloon seat.
