VITO was  originally fitted with twin 8mm head-stays and twin 8mm forestays. More recently the twin stays were exchanged for a single 10mm headstay with Facnor roller-furler,  and a single 10mm forestay.  The roller furler caries a 120% high cut yankee jib, with reinforcements at the 80% reef point. In addition, the luff of the new (2014) heavy duty 80% yankee jib has been converted from hank-on to boltrope, and serves as a back-up for the 120% roller sail.

The forestay carries a hank-on staysail, of which there are 3 of various weights and condition. There is also a new (2014) unused storm-jib that sets on the forestay.

There is a large inventory of hank-on sails: 1x 120% genoa, 2x 100% genoas. 3 sets of yankee jib+staysail (1 light weight set, and one heavy duty set unused).

Radial cut spinnaker (blue/white), with spinnaker sock.

New (2017) 120% nylon drifter, with reinforced luff tape, mounted on a Facnor endless-rope furler. This sail is set just forward of the headstay, when necessary.
